Just Pictures....

"Baby Tabitha"

This is the picture that change our lives, even if just for a short time. I sent this picture to Scott through a text message that said, "Not sure what to say..." The truth is I didn't. Things are not always easy in a house where two parents work and adding a new baby is quite a transition (something of which I am not fond of). Nevertheless, we were both excited and Scott came out of his office to be excited with me!

Our kids were so excited when we told them that we were expecting a new baby. Naomi was so excited that she named the baby "Tabitha." Any time there was mention of the baby, she always referred to it as "Baby Tabitha." Our only memory of this baby now that it's gone is the picture of our + pregnancy test. Oh and the exhaustion, soreness, the need to eat all the time. Just to name a few! Just a simple little memory of a baby that would of been loved and the hope of another "Baby Tabitha" (as Naomi says) in the future.

Naomi decided to come visit me in my class today because she needed her glasses to play outside! Couldn't help myself...she looked so cute!!

Snow Days...

We recently went to visit the snow up at Wrightwood Mountains. The girls and I lasted all of 10 minutes (maybe) and then spent some quality time in the car. Peyton and Scott were able to hang in a bit longer.

A couple of days later we were then blessed with snow at our home. I am so glad it snowed but am more thankful that it is all gone!! These were taken during the "happy...were getting along time." It went downhill from there. Snowballs started flying and that was the end.

Finally...an update after 5 months :o)

It's been a busy time for us this past few months. Not so much with vacationing or anything like that but with just life at home and not much time to sit at the computer... We did take our kids to the water park this summer and had lots of fun with that. Scott and I were able to get away for two nights in Lake Arrowhead for our 6th anniversary without any kids. And of course lots of park trips in the evening and lots of trips to McDonalds indoor playland (which is air conditioned)! I worked this summer as did Scott and that kept us busy as well.

We have also celebrated our daughter Isabella's 3rd birthday and our son Peyton's 5th birthday this summer as well. We did a super simple birthday bash behind our church in which the kids (and all kids invited) were able to bring their bikes to ride on or they could play on the playground. Someone made the cakes for us and we brought the ice cream. It was easy and fun!

Now it's fall time and Scott is off helping out the schools he works with and having fun doing it. He really enjoys serving them... :o) And I am eager to get my new classes for the fall. I have some new students as well as some that are returning. It's going to be a great school year for them. Peyton is starting Kindergarden at DCS on Tuesday and Isabella is moving to her 3 year old class. Naomi will contine to be with Grandma until she is closer to her 2 year old birthday.

Look at these great pictures of Peyton & Isabella from Easter. Cari took them while at church that morning. Peyton said she bribed him with a cinnamon roll to have his photo taken. Since he really likes them it worked out seeing that he won't take pictures for me ever!!

Side Note: I will start booking any photo sessions for Cari starting today (wink*wink*)...

she'll have to pay me at least 25% for all the extra business :)

Happy 1st Birthday Naomi Ruth!!

Well...it was Naomi's Birthday yesterday. I can't really believe she is one. She is still so small and seeing her walking around is just crazy. But that's not the worst of it. I've had three kids moving on foot for a couple of weeks now. Ahhhhh!!
(Once Naomi really gets going, I'm really in trouble!)

Naomi is just blooming with personality right now...

She has a new love for food and now that we have had her party...

She is working on her 4th tooth...

And she loves to get in to everything and clear off any surface (tables, chairs, couches, etc...)!!

Despite the extra work that goes into another child, we have really enjoyed her first year so much and we realized how truly blessed we are to have these sweet children that we have!!

Snow, Snow, and More Snow

We truly can't believe that it has been and still is snowing today. It has been so much fun to experience snow with our children for the first time. We played in the snow, had a snowball fight, made a snowman, were freezing by the time we were done, watched movies, and enjoyed hot chocolate and homemade fudge :) What a great day it was!!!

Seven Months Later...

Naomi Ruth is now 7 months old!! I can't believe it!! And she never stops amazing me with how different she is from her sibilings. She is a beautiful little girl that I truly love so much.

Here are some Naomi stats:

She is 26 inches long and weighs 14 pounds 2 ounces

She now army crawls allover the place even though mommy isn't ready for this yet :)

She loves to still wake up a few times each night...but we have been letting her cry lately and she is starting to wake less

She loves to smile

She loves to play with Peyton & Isabella. They make her smile, always!

She has discovered her tongue and is constantly chewing on it, twisting it, curling it...pretty much just playing with it. Her brother & sister did not so this...

She is talking now which means all sorts of noises and sounds and maybe even mama :)

Baseball

Outside fun is a must in a house with 3 kids four years old and under. I know you must be thinking that we are crazy but we already know that!! Here is one thing our kids love to play outside any time of the year...baseball. With lots of practice, Peyton has got really good at hitting and throwing. He has a proud Daddy!! Isabella just likes to pretend she knows what she doing but she does look cute! Here are some fun pictures of playing baseball with the kids recently...

Naomi Cuteness!!!

Just some cute pictures of Naomi...she loves to smile for the camera!! The first one she wasn't to excited to smile for. Can you guess why?? And of course if I was a better picture taker I would of put the tag on the opposite side but oh well!! And we have recently discovered that she likes bread sticks from The Olive Gadren...Thanks Uncle Daryl!
