Harvest Halloween...as Peyton calls it :)

Harvest Halloween was great fun for our kids. Daddy kind of worked a half day, so once everyone got up from their naps, we got to carve our pumpkins. We borrowed a book from some friends called The Pumpkin Gospel which we read while we carved the pumpkins. The kids liked it very much. They got to help remove the slimy stuff and then enjoy choosing the shapes of the eyes and nose. Once finished, we set aside the pumpkin yuck to sort out the seeds later to make "peanuts," as Isabella calls them.

Then we picked up a cheap dinner at Taco Bell and headed for church. What a crazy place to be. There were lots of games to play, a jumper to jump in, a very large slide, pumpkins to paint, and way to much candy to eat. All in all...it was fun.

So fun and cute! I wonder where you got that fabulous idea to do that book. Also, love how you changed up your background. Good job!!
